ABOUT US
Welcome to Global Boat Works, we specialise in lightweight, modern composite boat building, high quality traditional woodworking and offer a unique and personal service.
Global Boat Works is run by Jamie and Emily Fabrizio. ​

Jamie’s passion for making things stems from an early age through a love of building and flying model aircraft. Jamie served his apprenticeship building timber and composite sailing dinghies.
The next few years were spent boat building around the UK, Europe and Australasia, broadening his knowledge and skillset.

Jamie met Emily, and together they setup Global Boat Works in the UK, building predominately ocean rowing boats for ten years until 2016. After which, they headed overseas, and Jamie was building super yacht tenders and contracting for various companies.
In Spring 2025, they relocated back to the UK, re-establishing Global Boat Works, with full workshop facilities here in the Southwest.
